The Dusty Buzzard team has spent the better part of this past decade entrenched in the local Wilmington film scene in a variety of roles. Since 2005, we have produced for TV, film projects and nearly 100 commercials or corporate videos along the east coast. Our team handles every step of the video production process, from concept and storyboards, to editing and delivery. Original Content
The ultimate goal as a production company is to develop and produce original content for Television and Motion Pictures. We are currently working on several projects in-house including our first feature film under the Dusty Buzzard brand. In the Fall of 2011, we will begin pre-production on the feature film while expanding our website to include a weekly video blog to keep everyone up to date on our progress.

The Bird’s The Word
The name (Dusty Buzzard) popped up in a brainstorming session that concluded after days of industry research, hundreds of creative name ideas and a couple of ice-cold adult beverages. We know what you’re thinking, “Why Dusty Buzzard?” During our process, we came up with a short list of expectations for a new company name. We needed something outside of the box and unforgettable, but also multidimensional and fun. Our company needs to appeal to the corporate world but the bottom line is entertainment and we wanted our branding to match our end product. We figured, that since we always find cool and creative ways to tell our stories, why not have a little fun with our identity. Like that, the bird was born. We are lucky to be involved in a creative medium that allows us to express ourselves and even though none of us have any elaborate stories about a vulture needing a gas mask to survive, we really enjoy the visual.
